Droitwich container manufacturer and waste solutions provider, Egbert Taylor, has bolstered its UK sales team following the recruitment of seasoned waste industry figures Karen Yeates and Laura Lindley.
Karen, who joins as Area Sales Manager for South East England, has established a successful career in the waste industry and joins Egbert Taylor from the role of Waste Division Project Manager at ISS Facilities. Prior to that her roles included Environmental Key Account Manager at Mitie and Sales and Account Manager at JunkClear.
Laura also joins the business as Area Sales Manager for South East England straight from a sales position at ReFood UK, where she spent her time acquiring new customers from the food sector and supporting various food waste to renewable energy initiatives.
Both Karen and Laura will now feed into Egbert Taylor’s plans to build on its UK market share and expand its customer base across the public and private sectors.
On joining Egbert Taylor, Karen comments:
“This is a great opportunity to not only increase sales of Taylor’s world-renowned galvanised steel bins within a UK market, but also help the business communicate the benefits of IoT technology offered under the Bigbelly and netBin brands. I now look forward to contributing towards Egbert Taylor’s ambitious growth plans and developing the brand’s presence in the South East of England.”
Mark adds: “Egbert Taylor has entered an exciting period and one that we think will see a period of consolidation, driven in part by local authorities’ acceptance of new technologies and their willingness to adopt smart technology to reduce operational costs and increase efficiencies. Karen and Laura now represent an integral part of this plan and we welcome both of them to the team.”
