IEG expands sales team

Impact Environmental Group (IEG), which now owns the Taylor and Duraflex brands, has expanded the remit of Container Components’ Sales Manager Bruce Ashton following the decision to promote him to the role of Area Business Manager for the entire group.

Bruce joins the wider IEG stable of brands after three years at Container Components where he was responsible for managing the Rotogal account, which saw him import plastic containers used in salmon farming from Europe.

Working with local authorities and private waste contractors, Bruce will now focus on marketing Taylor’s range of galvanised steel bins in UK territories below Manchester and excluding London.

Drawing on Duraflex’s comprehensive range of plastic lids, IEG now provides access to the UK’s widest range of steel bins and plastic lid solutions.

On becoming Area Business Manager Bruce comments: “Having spent the majority of my career in injection-moulded plastics, I’m now looking forward to work in steel and believe that there are many opportunities to extend IEG’s reach across the UK. It’s great to join the Taylor team, which is stronger than ever now that it’s supported by the scale of IEG, and I’m ready to help the business grow its order book and build its presence UK-wide.”

Mark Jenkins, Sales Director for IEG’s Taylor and Duraflex brands, adds: “Bruce is a fantastic sales and customer service professional, which is why we’re delighted to have him support the Taylor brand. Following a busy acquisition and hiring period, we’re now ready to begin our growth phase in earnest. Bruce’s role as Area Business Manager will undoubtedly play a significant role in that.”

Outside of work, Bruce is a tractor enthusiast and restorer specialising in Ferguson, Massey Ferguson and International tractor brands. He has now restored several tractors.
